Da Bara was founded by Brothers Ben and Tim Hawkins, both long time veterans of the hospitality and catering trade, and both with serious passion for home bread baking. Renowned for the highest quality bread and pastries, the team were looking for labelling that would match the quality of their product. The materials were selected to match the craft of their artisan breads.

The design and finish of the bread and pastry labels have been created to reflect the quality of the products – emphasising the wheat sheaf logo with an emboss detail as a soft honey hue on the Tintoretto Gesso uncoated paper which has a beautiful lightly hammered surface texture. No varnishes or laminates have been applied making it a more sustainable specification. We have also produced a ‘blank’ version which can be printed thermally for small run batches or new product launches. This helps Da Bara keep good control of labelling costs and gives them in house control where wanted.
